We offer mental health support groups each month (see About page for location):
– [NEW] 1st Thursdays, 6pm to 7:30pm | open to peers ("mental health consumers") personally experiencing challenges to their mental health and seeking support along their path of recovery. (see NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group for more information)
– 3rd Thursdays, 6pm to 7:30pm | open to anyone directly or indirectly affected by a mental health condition, including family members and friends. Following a half hour speaker presentation, attendees are broken into two groups to provide more targeted support: those seeking support as a mental health consumer (“peer”), and family members who are experiencing the challenge of supporting a loved one.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a self-designed prevention and wellness process that anyone can use to get well, stay well and make their life the way they want it to be. A WRAP-trained peer offers a one-hour, one-on-one introduction to WRAP, with a followup weekly drop-in opportunity for peers to get help further developing and working with their WRAP plan. If you are interested, please contact us and our WRAP peer will respond to setup an appointment.
